Big Sky Adapter The "Big Sky Adapter (BSA-1)" can be used on the Hitachi NV65, the Bostitch N66C-1, the MAX CN565S, and any other coil nailer that has a .702 to a .705 nose piece. The "Big Sky Adapter (BSA-2)" was specially
created for the Hitachi NV 45AB2 nail gun. 1. Make sure that all three (3) set screws are screwed out far enough to allow the adapter to slide over the nose piece of the nail gun. 2. On the N65 HITACHI, the adapter set screws are positioned to go into the recessed ring around the nose piece. This allows approximately 1/8" of nose piece protruding beyond the adapter. This also allows the adjustable depth gauge to still function on the nailer. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE SET SCREWS. 4. The "Big Sky Adapter (BSA-1)" can be used on the Hitachi NV65, the Bostitch N66C-1, the MAX CN565S, and any other coil nailer that has a .702 to a .705 nose piece. The "Big Sky Adapter (BSA-2)" can be used on the Hitachi NV 45AB2 nail gun. Always hold the adapter back on the nose piece approximately 1/8" to allow the adjustable depth gauge to function on the nailer.
